About Avatar
Avatar is a private non-profit educational and social club established in 1983 for gay men with an interest in BDSM. We teach safe, sane and consensual BDSM techniques to anyone interested in learning.
Our activities include educational meetings, private play parties, public demonstations and small hands-on workshops. Avatar respects privacy and confidentiality in all its activities.
Avatar is a private membership organization for adults incorporated in the State of California in 1983 as a non-profit corporation. You must be of legal age (21+) to participate in any of our activities and you must abide by the rules and regulations of our organization and its officers.
Our educational meetings are open to the public regardless of sex, religion, sexual orientation or race. Donations are accepted to cover our costs and no one is denied entrance for lack of funds. All events require a release of liability which you must read and acknowledge to gain entrance to our events. Some events may also require your signed waiver and release of liability.
